A world without pollinators certainly couldn’t sustain seven billion people, which is why we need to act now to save our food supply and the health of our ecosystem.

Pollinator Meadow (Colby Farm Lane)
In late 2021, we were approached by the Conservation Commission of Newburyport to partner with them to convert the Colby Farm Lane hayfield into a native plant pollinator meadow.

Community Pollinator Gardens
Currently working on a new garden on the rail trail in collaboration with the City of Newburyport and augmenting the rail trail butterfly garden.

Educational Outreach
Educational Outreach
Education has been a cornerstone of PPW’s work since its founding. The group runs an internship program at Newburyport High School, allowing students to earn school credit while gaining hands-on experience in conservation.

We created our roadmap and toolkit starting in the fall of 2021, met with local gardeners, planned 10 gardens, ordered native seedlings, and got 3,000 square feet of native gardens planted.
